The over-the-counter bulletin board (OTCBB) is like a pseudo stock exchange, it’s for all the stocks that didn’t make the cut to list on the major stock exchanges like the London Stock Exchange or the Nasdaq.
The OTCBB provides a digital notice board which is a quoting system where traders and investors can find up to the minute (so not quite live) quotes, last sale prices and trading volumes for securities or stocks that are trading over-the-counter (OTC). It’s like an eBay auction.
